A patient who gets no answer books somewhere else.

A dental practice takes 30 to 50 calls a day, close to half of them about an invoice, an opening time or the date of an appointment. Digital Evolution installs a phone line that absorbs those calls and gives the front desk back to the patient standing in front of it.

What the calls nobody answers cost you

Assumptions

They are shown and editable. Nothing is hidden inside the result.

Deliberately cautious: a missed call is not a lost customer. Many people call back, dial the wrong number, or were never going to buy.

Estimated yearly loss

€90,000

around €7,500 a month

The calculation

40 calls/day × 20% unanswered × 250 days × 30% genuinely winnable × €150 per job

What people ask us

How many calls does a dental practice take per day?

Between 30 and 50 depending on the size of the practice. And 45 to 50% of those calls are low-value requests: an invoice, an opening time, the date of an appointment already booked.

What does the agent do, exactly?

It answers administrative questions, offers a slot, moves an appointment, sends the confirmation and then the reminder 24 hours ahead. Anything needing human judgement goes to the front desk.

What about emergencies?

Any clinical situation is passed to a practitioner immediately, on the rule agreed with you. The agent gives no medical advice and asks no health questions.

Is it GDPR-compliant in a healthcare practice?

The agent stays on the administrative layer: name, contact details, the reason as the patient words it, requested slot. No health data is collected, transmitted or kept — which puts the setup outside the scope of French health-data hosting (HDS) certification.

Does it reduce no-shows?

An automatic reminder 24 hours ahead is the simplest tool against no-shows. We measure its effect at your practice during the 30-day pilot, against a metric agreed before we start. We announce no percentage up front.

Is the front desk replaced?

No. It is relieved of repetitive calls so it can look after the patients who are in the practice.

How much does it cost for a practice?

The phone line is included in the Standard (€590/month) and Complete (€890/month) tiers, on a 3-month commitment. A 30-day pilot, from €290 to €490, lets you start with no subscription committed.

What we set up

The agent books appointments, sends an automatic reminder 24 hours ahead, and tells genuine emergencies apart so it can alert the practitioner. Anything clinical is escalated to a human: the agent stays on the administrative layer only (stated reason, contact details, time slot).

Measured result

  • −25% no-shows
  • front desk back to welcoming patients in person

The automatic reminders changed our daily routine — we no longer spend the whole day on the phone.
