Data collected and purposes
1. Booking an appointment (free AI audit): when you book a slot through our online calendar (Calendly), we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional) and company name in order to organise and prepare the call. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (GDPR art. 6.1.b).
2. Email contact: when you write to us, we process the data you provide in order to reply. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6.1.f).
3. Audience measurement: we use a privacy-friendly analytics solution (Vercel Analytics), with no cookies and no individual tracking: data is aggregated and anonymous. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
4. Business-to-business outreach (information under GDPR article 14): we may collect, from publicly available sources (company websites, professional directories, Google Maps listings), the professional contact details of business owners or managers (company name, professional email address, professional phone number, city, activity) in order to present our services, which are directly related to their business. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6.1.f), in line with the French data protection authority's (CNIL) guidance on B2B outreach. Every message contains an unsubscribe link; any objection is applied immediately and permanently (suppression list).
Recipients and processors
Your data is processed by the Digital Evolution team and by our technical providers acting as processors: Calendly (appointment booking) and Vercel (hosting and analytics). Some providers are located outside the European Union; such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards (European Commission standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision). We never sell or rent your data.
Retention periods
Appointment and correspondence data: 3 years from the last contact.
B2B outreach data: 3 years from the last contact without a reply from you, or until you object.
Analytics data: aggregated and anonymous, kept without time limit.
Data relating to a contractual relationship: duration of the contract, then the applicable statutory retention periods.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to object to and restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email us at contact@digital-evolution.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr) in France or the ICO (ico.org.uk) in the United Kingdom.
